Heel is again among the best companies for families

The family magazine ELTERN ("parents") and the human resources marketing company TERRITORY Embrace select for the second time "The best companies for families". With 5 out of 5 possible stars, Heel is one of Germany's best companies for families.

Since 2018, ELTERN has been honoring companies for their family-friendliness. A large number of companies with more than 950,000 employees participated in the extensive study this year and answered a detailed questionnaire.

Heel achieved outstanding results

Heel achieved outstanding results in the five examined criteria Family Friendly Work Environment, Assistance with Care, Flexible Working Hours, Career with Child and Value of Family Friendliness in the Company and achieved the highest overall rating of five stars for the second time in a row. This makes Heel one of the "best companies for families" again in 2019 and, as a medium-sized company, offers its employees more family-friendly services than many large corporations.

Being once again awarded as one of the best companies for families confirms our manifold initiatives for the reconcilation of family and work life. At Heel, family friendliness has been a high priority in the company for years and we are proud that our commitment is also recognized outside Heel.

For example, Heel has been providing childcare locally on the Heel premises since 2011. At the "Heel Kids", children between the ages of two months to three years are cared for by day nannies either for a few hours or over the entire working day. Flexible working hours are also possible at Heel. Heel currently offers almost 100 different part-time models. The different working hours are adapted to personal needs and business processes.

Heel is regularly rewarded for its family-friendliness and innovative employee benefits. In addition to the current award, Heel has been honored as "Top Employer Germany" annually for ten years. In a survey conducted by the business magazine Capital and the personnel and management consultancy Kienbaum, Heel was one of the companies with the best and most innovative benefit programs both in 2017 and 2019. In 2019, Heel was awarded once again one of Germany's best companies for apprentices. Heel was also one of the 11 finalists in the nationwide "Success Factor Family 2012" competition with over 500 applicants.
