Application process at Heel
On submitting your application through our portal, firstly you will receive an acknowledgement of receipt. We will then review your documents.
If we find your profile interesting, you will then go through a professional application process at Heel based on top quality aptitude testing instruments.
During the first interview in Baden-Baden, you will meet a member of the Human Resources Management staff together with a representative from the specific department. This personal interview gives both sides an opportunity to get to know each other. Moreover, you will also find out more about the job and our company, and we will gladly answer all your questions. Duration: 1.5 h.
In certain cases (e.g. if you are currently abroad), we will interview you on the phone prior to your first personal visit. As far as the scientific sales force is concerned, the first interview is held with the senior executive in the respective region.
If the outcome of the first interview has been convincing for both sides, a second interview will be held in Baden-Baden.
The second interview usually consists of
- an online testing procedure consisting of a self-assessment questionnaire about your personality (takes about 30 minutes), a test of your cognitive skills (approx. 90 minutes) and a concentration test (approx. 15 minutes). Depending on the scheduling aspects, in some cases we may send you the self-assessment questionnaire online in advance so that you can complete it flexibly in your own time at home before the actual interview. The cognitive and concentration tests are carried out on a computer on our company premises. The concentration test is waived for certain jobs.
- This will be followed by a second interview with further representatives from Human Resources and from the specific department.
We always treat the results of your interview process with strict confidentiality and keep them transparent for you. Following the interview, you will receive personal feedback regarding the results of your online process.
It goes without saying that your personal data are always treated with utmost confidentiality and in compliance with data protection regulations.
We will contact you shortly after the second interview to discuss any further steps with you where appropriate. Your personal data will be destroyed promptly if your interview process does not result in a job offer.

In the course of inviting you to the application process, we will inform you in good time about which steps you will be facing in each case, so that you will be able to make the best possible preparations. We will of course refund your travel costs, regardless of where you are coming from. You will receive the corresponding form together with the invitation.
